About Grupo los Menceyes
Grupo Los Menceyes has completed till now 2 major projects, being Playa de Los Menceyes (Beach of the Kings) and Bahia de Los Menceyes (Bay of Kings).
What does Menceyes mean?
The names have been chosen in honour of the last nine menceyes who reigned over the island during the period of the "Guanches", the first known population on the islands.
Where are we?
The villa-apartments of Bahía de los Menceyes Phase I, Phase II, Phase III, and Phase IV are situated around the bay of Palm Mar and border on the natural reserve of La Rasca. Every villa-apartment obtained the name of a Mencey.
In an oasis of subtropical gardens, exotic cascades and three beautiful swimming-pools, every residence offers you guaranteed ocean view.
According to its situation every villa also enjoys panoramic views over La Gomera, the coast of Playa de las Americas, the Pico del Teide or the nature reserve La Rasca.
Luxurious apartments and penthouses
Bahía de los Menceyes has a large choice of spacious, luxurious apartments and penthouses with one, two or three bedrooms of which the main suite is provided with a whirlpool. Besides that, the penthouses are also equipped with a heated spa on the sun-terrace.
In a well-considered way a subtle play between light and space has been used through which terraces and living rooms flow harmoniously into each other.
Due to the success of Bahía de los Menceyes Phase I (hand over in July 2004), Phase II (February 2005) and Phase III (July 2005), we acquired another adjacent plot just in front of the sea where we are building at the moment Phase IV of which completion and handing over will take place in October 2007.
On the other side of the urbanisation we have created the project Playa de los Menceyes of which Phase I has been handed over in July 2006. The hand over of Phase II is foreseen for May 2009 and Phase III for September 2010.
Peace and luxury are the centre of attention in all the projects of Grupo los Menceyes.

To guarantee the quality of life of our growing list of clients as well as of the urbanisation Palm Mar, we have acquired also the plots with parcel number 51 and 52, situated on the right side of Phase I, II, III & IV of “Bahía de los Menceyes”. Therefore we have already finished the studies and rough project, as well as the contracting of the necessary technicians for the future construction of a sport club which will include a gym, Spa, health centre, tennis courts, French bowls court, open air swimming pools, cafeteria, restaurants, lounge bar and a full equipped service office.
